Purpose | Our recombinant Protein A and G combines the binding characteristics of Protein A and Protein G, providing an easy way to purify most immunoglobulins. |

Ligand Density: approximately 6 mg/ml of Protein A and 2 mg/ml of Protein G of drained gel Dynamic Binding Capacity: approximately 18 to 35 mg human IgG per ml of drained gel (estimated in a0.7x5cm column at a linear flow rate of 300 cm/h under the following conditions: binding buffer: 0.1 M PBS pH7.0, Eluting buffer 0.1 M citrate pH 3.0. 2.8 times excess IgG of the binding capacity was applied. Bead Structure: 4% highly cross-linked agarose Bead Size Range: 45 to 165 μm Mean Bead Size: approximately 90 μm Maximum Linear Flow Rate: >1300 cm/hour at 25 deg C in an XK 16/20 column, bed height 5 cm pH Stability: Long term storage - 3 to 9: short term storage - 2 to 10 Chemical Stability: IgG binding capacity and recovery maintained after storage for (a) 7 days at 40o C in 3MNaSCN, 6M guanidine-HCl, 0.1M glycine (pH3.0), 70% ethanol: 10 hours at 23 o C in 8M urea, 0.1M glycine(pH 11), 5.8M acetic acid (pH 2.0) Physical stability: Negligible volume variation due to changes in pH or ionic strength Sanitization: Sanitize the packed column with 2% Hibitane/20% ethanol or with 70% ethanol |
